WHIRL Magazine is published in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. WHIRL has grown from one magazine into a publishing company with multiple titles, including Edible Allegheny, the resource for local food, the semi-annual WHIRL Wedding Guide', and the just-launched quarterly, WHIRL At Home. WHIRL was founded in 2001 and has the mission of showcasing the positive aspects and lifestyle of Western Pennsylvania.
Regis Philbin says WHIRL is "The best magazine in Pittsburgh." And Fergie says, "It's a really nice magazine — great fashion!" Other cover stars include Beth Ostrosky Stern, Christina Aguilera, Taylor Swift and President of the United States, Barack Obama.
Edible Allegheny is a bi-monthly publication. It promotes Western Pennsylvania's food movement, its distinct culinary styles, and its huge community of growers, producers, chefs, and food artisans.[2]
